Dr. Johnson is a Board Eligible Urologist specializing in urinary infections and female urology.

He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas. He completed his residency at Northwestern University. As an instructor of Urology, he performed research involving the effects of hormones on the urinary system. He introduced needle suspension female incontinent surgery to this area in the late 1980's. His publications include articles on pylonephritis and pediatric bladder outlet obstruction.

Dr. Johnson has been a resident of DeKalb since joining the DeKalb Clinic 28 years ago. His wife Jeannine is a registered nurse, and they have three sons Todd, a physician, Trent and Troy.
