Dr. Thakkar is a Board Certified Internist. He completed medical school at B.J. Medical College in India and his residency at the Bon Secours Cottage Health System in Grosse Pointe, MI. He is a member of the American Medical Association Medical Association and American College of Physicians. Dr. Thakkar's practice specializes in the management of diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders, and arthritis. He has been a resident of Sycamore since joining DeKalb Clinic in 2000.
