Dr. Upputuri received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Common Wealth of Dominica, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. He is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. He specializes in infertility workups and treatments, medical and surgical treatment for female urinary problems (urinary incontinence, interstitial cystitis and prolapsed bladder). He also specializes in minimally invasive Laproscopic Hysterectomies and Laproscopic Surgeries. Dr. Upputuri accepts women who are pregnant and are on public aid. Dr. Upputuri is a local resident of Sycamore and enjoys traveling, exercising, dining and participating in charity organizations. He has traveled with Doctors of the World to Kenya to do urine incontinence surgeries in remote villages. Dr. Upputuri speaking at the March of Dimes in April, 2008.
