Dr. Ahmad completed his medical schooling at the Khyber Medical College in Pakistan and the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom and his residency at the University of Illinois. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. He has special interest in the management of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and cholesterol disorders. He believes that prevention is superior than treatment. He specifically looks for preventative strategies to prevent diabetes, coronary artery disease and circulation problems. One of his goals is to apply the national guidelines to prevent common cancers. Dr. Ahmad has been married since 1995 and has 3 wonderful children.
