Dr. Kirts is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He practices general Psychiatry. He is a graduate of Knox College, Galesburg, Illinois and received his doctor of medicine from Stritch School of Medicine of Loyola University in 1966. He completed a rotation internship at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona in 1966 and 1967. His psychiatric residency was at Loyola University Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972 and has practiced Psychiatry in DeKalb since 1972.
