When someone in your family is experiencing trauma due to a mental illness, it may feel as though you are completely alone. At DeKalb Clinic, we realize that the mental health and welfare of you and your family may be a difficult issue to disclose to others. We encourage you to share your questions and concerns with the professionals at our facility so that we can lead you and your family out of the darkness, and toward the light of acceptance and recovery.
Our mental health team of professionals include psychiatrists, Dr. Thomas Dennison, Dr. Thomas Kirts, Dr. M. Azhar, a licensed clinical psychologist, Steve Withrow, Psy. D., and two licensed clinical social workers, Lynette Spencer, L.C.S.W., Alan F. Singer, M.S.W., L.C.S.W. and Jennifer Thomason, L.C.P.C, C.C.M.H.C. Services include counseling and medical care for a wide range of conditions using multiple therapy options:
