Conjunctivitis (Pinkeye)

Conjunctivitis is a description of a condition of the eyes. It can be caused by viruses, bacteria, allergies, chemicals and other things. Diagnosing the likely cause of conjunctivitis must be done in the pediatrician's office. Appropriate treatment depends on the cause. Conjunctivitis is not necessarily a reason to be excluded from school. Your child's pediatrician can make a recommendation to the school after seeing your child.
