Impetigo (Skin Infection)

Impetigo is a skin infection. It is usually caused by staph or strep bacteria. It can appear as a sore with yellow gooey crusting, small blisters or large blisters. It can be treated with antibiotics. If your child has a sore that is not healing or blisters then make an appointment to see the pediatrician.
