Amanda Friedrichs, M.D.

Dr. Friedrichs is a native of DeKalb. She and her husband Dr. Jason Friedrichs, an ophthalmologist joined the DeKalb Clinic and are happy to be back in Northern Illinois. Dr. Friedrichs obtained her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She completed her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford and her medical internship at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of a variety of skin conditions in both the adult and pediatric populations; thus offering the service of dermatologic care for the entire family. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the many forms of skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis and performs a variety of cosmetic procedures. Dr. Friedrichs will be seeing patients at the clinic in mid August.
